How to make Viking Knit?
I use sterling silver or permanently colored copper wire to make my chains.
The chain in making
The viking knit is made of continuous piece of wire.
The hooks are called petals and they form a hard structure on different sizes of sticks or wrenches.
Upon reaching the desired length I pull this trough first bigger than smaller and smaller wholes which makes the diameter of the chain smaller and the metal flexible again.

The chains can be cut into various length or bent into circles.
